My husband and I stayed in the honeymoon jacuzzi suite on the 8th floor. We were blown away by the views of the bay and the ocean. Absolute paradise. The room was very nicely decorated and Clean! The sheets could use some updating but they weren’t dirty. Just what you get if you are right on the water with the humidity. The shower water temperature was not always consistent but hey why waste time in there when you could be in the crystal clear ocean right outside. The room had a safe also which was good and a tv but we didn’t watch it too much. The jacuzzi was soooo nice to relax in after a day at the beach. We were not disappointed with the room, staff or service. The staff were top notch. Carlos rocks! He’s very educated about Mia Reef, the Island as well as activities in Cancun. We also stayed in a regular jacuzzi suite on the 5th floor and I must say that I like the jacuzzi in this room better because it faces the ocean. The jacuzzi in the honeymoon suite had a beautiful view of the bay as well but there was a privacy wall and greenery that obstructed the view a bit. The 5th floor jacuzzi wall is glass so you don’t miss a thing. We absolutely love Mia Reef and couldnt have picked a better honeymoon spot!! we hope to be back very soon!

My wife and I spent time at this resort recently and we had a absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel personnel treated us with the upmost respect, dignity and class that you would expect from an all inclusive resort of this stature. From the resort manager whom, at no extra cost to myself and wife had our room attendants bring of a plate of deserts and a bottle wine so that we could celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Priceless gesture. The food was great for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even thought they some construction was being done to the bungalows, the main building was very well kept and mostly quiet the entire stay. We highly recommend this resort for every couple married or not, to experience such a luxury and beautiful place.

I never leave reviews but I will this time. This was our 4th trip to Mia Reef we love the water so May is the best time for us. Our room was on the 5th floor and the best it could be. Grant it the Mia is not super fancy but it is super clean and the staff is so great. If you are a foodie then you might be a little disappointed in the food out of 5 stars I would give it a 3. The beach gets a 5 stars and the staff gets a 5 stars. They clean non stop so that is also a 5. The ocean view deck is a 5 and the balcony if you get a room that the roof isn’t blocking would get a 3 to 5 star depending on location. We have stayed twice in the deluxe suites on the 3rd floor one room was awesome as far as the view was concerned and the other not so much. There are other places that are newer and fancier but if you are going to the sand and beach stay at the Mia. Everyone else tries to come there when they are at other hotels. But the Mia works really hard to give its customers the private beach feel keeping non residence visitors on the other side of the sand.
